Well, I am just using that to look in the rear view mirror so-to-speak and see if there has been a change and when. I could have sworn that he said he was not his own man, at some point in his speech. But apparently it is not there yet, at least in transcript form on the internet that is, Or there is a conspiracy there to make sure that a google gets you everything but his. But I did find out that he has support from both Joe Leiberman and George Bush in being his own man. So unless there was some flip-flop in my head, somebody was not briefed on his speech or his strategy. Maybe he has mastered nuance or just surrendered to flip-flop.
